Policy Dividend for Medical Device Automation: Medical Device Automated Production Lines Included in the High-End Equipment Manufacturing Subsidy Catalog

At the end of November, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) updated the High-End Equipment Manufacturing Subsidy Catalog, for the first time incorporating "high-precision automated assembly/testing production lines for medical devices" into the subsidy scope:

Qualified medical enterprises purchasing domestically-made automated production lines can receive a subsidy of 15%-20% of the equipment value;

The subsidy will be preferentially tilted toward technical directions such as "assembly lines with a precision ≤ 0.05mm" and "intelligent testing equipment with a detection accuracy ≥ 99.5%";

This policy will further drive the automation upgrade of the medical industry and bring broader market space for medical device automation equipment enterprises.
